    Greetings,

    1. We would like a user other than root on WHM to be able to create accounts. Can this be done?

    Reason:
We want clerical staff to be able to create accounts for clients without having access to root WHM's featureset (for fear they'd destroy the server with the wrong click of a button).

yes providing they haven't exceeded the resource limits you've set for them (unless of course you enable overselling)

However the accounts will then be owned by that reseller and the others may not be able to "see" those accounts in WHM, with the execption of someone who has Root access set who can see all accounts on the server (Although setting that pretty much gives the same privs as root)

In case you couldnt find out where resellers go to create accounts....

once the reseller logs into their cPanel, there should be a WHM icon in the interface. Click there will allow them to log into their WHM (not root).
You can manage what features they have access to in their WHM by going to the Reseller Center (root account) and changing their permissions.
