Can someone please explain how to use sl for smtp and pop3

For some reason I skipped class on this and a customer is adamant about using ssl for his email client.

he said he used these settings before:

POP server = mail.domain.com
POP port 995 with SSL enabled

SMTP server = mail.domain.com
SMTP port 465 with SSL enabled

Can I continue using SSL ports when sending and receiving email?
Regardless, please tell me the settings I sould be using:

POP server =
POP port =
SSL enabled?

SMTP server =
SMTP port =
SSL enabled?

Do I need to add something for these ssl ports to work for email?

Your ports and settings in the first post seem correct. I have checked the box for I need authentication and mine works fine. I have not done the stable upgrades yet from this weekend so I am at:
WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.6-S27225
CENTOS Enterprise 5.2 x86_64 on virtuozzo - WHM X v3.1.0
