Can someone please help me fix my mail accounts

A few years ago,. all my mail accounts on my website worked fine,.. then one day many many months ago now, they all stopped working. I have not had a chance to get back in and try and resolve it until now. I cannot for the life of me get them to work. I tried creating a new account and no luck getting that to work either. I have obviously missed something in the instructions. I am getting mail route errors on the new account.

This is frustrating me to the max because my customers are not able to contact me via any of the emails I have on the site,.via direct links and another via a contact form.

I would really appreciate it if someone could walk me through the process. I am not usually so computer challenged but this has me stumped.

Have you checked the mail logs to see what may be occurring?

Mail Log Locations (on Linux Systems):

SMTP and mail delivery:
/var/log/exim_mainlog
/var/log/exim_rejectlog
/var/log/exim_paniclog

IMAP, POP and SpamAssassin:
/var/log/maillog
/var/log/messages
