Hi
I have searched in this forum but couldn't find the answer i need.
I have installed wordpress on my server, no problem- then I am trying to upload in wp-plugin file something like googlemap, no problem either, but once I try to extract the zip file it doesn't show extract button to do so.

What would be the mistake, and does anybody knows how to solve that problem.
But some plug ins are ok, and it does show extract on the top right corner, but some they don't.

Any help would me much appreciated.

Thank you

Be sure the zip file is highlighted when you are trying this. What I normally do is right-click the zip file and select extract from that pop-up menu so I don't get confused about which file I've highlighted.

I have managed only one file to extract, the rest doesn't work. Even with the instruction you gave me.

Your host should really be the one to ask about this. Does this file extract on your desktop properly? If so unpack it there and delete the original compressed file. Now use winzip and create a new compressed file and upload that to the server via File Manager. That should open ok via File Manager.
If you're uploading this thru WP that might be the problem.
