Can we use Old Cpanel Backup on new OS?

    We are going to convert from Fedora 6 to CentOS 5.
    Can we still use the /backup directory to restore cPanel once cPanel is installed on CentOS?

    Thanks for your help.

    You should be fine. cPanel needs to be able to work on the OS, not the account. As long as cPanel works, the backup should work as expected.
