    Hi,

I have a dedicated server that is running out of space in the home parition.

I was wondering if I can symlink a folder in CPanel to the back up partition where I have a lot of free space available.

I tried it but the user stays as root even when I try to change it so the cpanel user can't use it.

Any idea how I can make the symlink work so the cpanel user would be able to upload via FTP to it? And have it load on the website?

    Thanks,
    Charles

    Hi,
You can mount your second partition on /home2 OR /home3 directory and after that you can easily move your existing account to your new partition to make a free space on your current partition
