When I try and add certain sub domains the server returns:

    SubDomain Adder
Domain already exists, it was not added.

However, the sub domains are not on the server. They were at one time on the server but they were deleted from one account and we are trying to move them to another account. I have deleted all records of these sub domains from the http.conf and from the DNS entries but the server still says they already exist. Is there a file somewhere were cPanel keeps a record of all the domains and sub domains installed on the server? Or possibly somewhere in a database.

Thanks for any and all help,

    Lenker

check /etc/userdomains and the /var/cpanel/users/username file of all the related domains in business.

It checks the name server files, specifically named.conf and the zone files. It also checks all DNS cluster servers.
