    Cannot add a similar domain.
I have a domain called A.COM and similar domain A.ORG

When I go add the domain I get the below error.

A DNS entry for the domain “A.myserver.com” already exists.

This is because A.com is already registered on the system in the DNS zone, and is currently an active site. so I cannot remove the dns.

I create a new cpanel account for A.ORG but the web site does not load, yet the intodns shows everything is order and is A.ORG is point to the correct IP.

so I removed the account and tried adding again under addon domains, still the same error.

I have a similar issue with another domain called example.co, when I go to add it, the same error above shows because I have tow other domains called example.co & example.ie added it wont at example.co .
A DNS entry for the domain “example.domain.com” already exists.

    I've already follow this topic

I deleted a Zone from WHM but when I try to Add again it shows Error.

    Please advise

    Kind regards
    Sean

When you add an addon domain, it creates subdomain in the main domain. Make sure that DNS zone does not exist for that. also, your server's hostname should not match with subdomain.

    Hi Kailash
There is a sub domain for a.myserver.com which A.COM, so when adding A.ORG the subdomain conflicting A.com.

So if I understand correctly, if I try to add A.ORG, its trying to create a subdomain of a.myserver.com which already exist? correct?

So is it safe to remove a.myserver.com from the subdomain add A.ORG which will create an a.myserver.com

    and
why is abc.co conflicting with acb.co even thought the subdomain is acb.myserver.co is totally different

    Cheers
    Sean

Instead of deleting any existing subdomain, you can specify a new subdomain while adding an addon domain.

I am not sure about your second issue. Practically it is not possible to check without server access. I never faced such issue.
