    Hi

I tried to change a username from Modify an Account. But, it always says:
    Error
    Account Not Modified

    I use WHM 11.30.2 (build 1)

    Please help :)

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards,
    vKios

    Hello vKios,

Are there any errors outputting in the cPanel error logs when trying to change the account's username?

    Code:
    tail -fn0 /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
    Thanks!

    Hello cPanelTristan,

I only found this in the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log:
    [2011-08-10 09:35:55 +0700] info [xml-api] Account Not Modified [modifyacct] version [1].

    Hello,

Are you using https://whm.domain.com/ or http://whm.domain.com/ for the url you are trying to use to modify the account? If so, there's a case about the proxy subdomain for WHM not working to modify an account. You'd simply need to change to using https://domain.com:2087/ or https://IP#:2087/ rather than using the whm.domain.com url to make this change. The case number is 51677 and should have been fixed in 11.30.2.0 or higher, though.

If this is not the issue and it is still not working, then please open up a ticket using WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link in my signature. Please post the ticket number here upon submitting one.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I was using https://domain.com:2087/ to access WHM. I already sent a ticket (1802881).

Thank you for your help :)

    Regards,
    vKios
