Hello, sorry for my bad englisch. ;)

    Situation.

One of my Resellers has setup an addondomain in his mainaccount ( cpanel )

Than, he create a new customer account ( whl ) with the same domain name. so, now he cant delete the Addondomain in his account.

he delete the customer account, but he can not delete the addon domain. error message

Sorry, you do not control the domain ddproduction.com! Sorry, the subdomain ddproduction-com cannot be removed because it is linked to the
addon domain ddproduction.com. You must first remove the addon domain.

how can i delete as root this addon domain ?

I had some similar trouble. With a little searching and guessing, I came up with something that worked for me.

    Code:
    /scripts/killdns cvs.example.com
    /scripts/killvhost cvs.example.com
    /scripts/restartsrv
    I hope it helps.

The new Mainaccount for Domain XXX ist deleted.

But, the Addondomain cant be deletet.
When i delete the Addondomain xxx than:

Sorry, you do not control the domain xxx! Sorry, the subdomain xxx cannot be removed because it is linked to the addon domain xxx. You must first remove the addon domain.

I had to do my deletions from the command line as root. Don't bother with WHM for this.

Try replacing cvs.example.com with your problem domain name.

killdns removes the stuff from bind, while killvhost removes the httpd entries.

Oh yeah, I'm not sure if this was part of the fix or not.

In /var/cpanel/accts.db, remove the lines related to the problem domains. Make sure you back up accts.db. I don't know what happens if that gets screwed up.

    Good luck,

    Michael
