Hi guys. A user of mine is trying to delete a mailing list from cPanel, and after it asks "Are you sure you wish to delete", they select yes. It does not delete, and still shows up.

I've tried myself with the root password, I get the same thing.

This is 9.1.0-STABLE 86 on FreeBSD...

    My Solution

I found the only way to delete the lists for my clients was to do the following:

First try deleting it the normal way through cPanel - this actually does work its just it leaves a directory behind that you can then remove via shell. Anyway so then from root shell go to "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/lists" directory and type "ls" to get a listing of that directory. You'll see all these mailing list directories - look for the matching directory name - same as mailing list you're trying to delete. E.g if list name is then delete directory:
"" or the full path would be "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/lists/"

As always be careful when deleting !
