I am trying to delete /home/virtfs/[USER]/opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/etc/php.d/local.ini as it is overiding WHM FPM Settings and the settings of the Multi PHP Ini Editor.

I get the following error doing that: "File system readonly"

    Can anyone help?

This is solved. I could modify the file /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/etc/php.d/local.ini which was actually overriding the changes I did.

Thanks for posting back that you sorted this. I would only add here that you shouldn't delete anything in virtfs, ever.
