Hi, last week I attempted to generate a CSR for a domain, and ran into errors.

"cp: cannot stat `/usr/share/ssl/private/www.TheDomain.com.key': No such file or directory
Can't get vars ... did you forget one of them ? at /scripts/gencrt line 35, line 23."

The above lines are the error. I've tried getting support on this, they logged in Thursday, and Friday morning said it was going up the chain to level-2 support. I have heard nothing from them since. I know they may be closed on the weekends, but they had it all day Friday, and it's now after 4 their time.

Any suggestions?

Did you ever get a reply on this? I am having the same issue. I saw in another post that the error was fixed by switching to the latest RELEASE version, but I really don't want to jump out of the STABLE tree just yet as this is a production server, and I am new to using cpanel. Anyone have any input on this?

You have to fill in every single field, that should do it. Alternatly you can use the /scripts version of this.

Thanks, I wasn't filling in the non-required "division". It still gives the message "cp: cannot stat `/usr/share/ssl/private/www.DOMAINNAME.com.key': No such file or directory". Do you know the reason for that? Is it trying to access the key incase it already exists?
