I am attempting to set up a new box. I want to have shell set up as follows.

    Direct root login disabled.
    Public Key authorization only.
SSH running on an alternate port.
SSH running on an alternate IP.

I have created a user at shell with the useradd command. In WHM I added that user to the wheel group. I successfully logged into shell with that user and su - root. I successfully disabled direct root login. I have SSH running on an alternate port and alternate IP.

For the life of me I cannot get Public Key to work. Do I need to specifically enable PublicKey in the sshd_conf file or take some other action to ensure it is enabled?
