    I can't get this SSL installed in WHM. i've installed them before and never ran into this problem. It's a single root cert. csr, key and crt uploaded. After my attempts, I get the same messahes in WHM

    in cpanel log I got these. They're all the same output.

    This cert was working at another host.

    EDIT: BTW I added the X's in the verification #

    I tried searching the error message in google and yahoo and only got returns for openssl issues.

    Having the same error, I just installed the ssl-cert manually.
    Here's the code:
    Code:
    <IfModule mod_ssl.c>
    	<VirtualHost [IP adress]:443>
    	SSLEngine On
    	Port 443
    	SSLCertificateKeyFile [path/to/keyfile].key
    	SSLCertificateFile [path/to/certificate].crt
    	DocumentRoot [document root]
    	BytesLog domlogs/[domainname]-bytes_log
    	ServerName [domainname]

    	User [cpanel username]
    	Group [cpanel username]
    	CustomLog /usr/local/apache/domlogs/[domainname] combined
    	ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/[cpanel username]/public_html/cgi-bin/
    	SSLLogFile /usr/local/apache/domlogs/[domainname]-ssl
    	ServerAlias [domainname]
    	ServerAdmin webmaster@[domainname]
    	</VirtualHost>
    </IfModule>
    Add this to your httpd.conf.

    Hi NeverPanic,

    Good name you got there. It suits now. Thank you and shouldn't that be commented with the 'IfDefine SSL section'?

    Also, within WHM in the SSL Manager section, when looking there, I can see 3 columns key, csr and crt. All ssl files relating to the server and domain are shown except for the CSR. The CSR is not shown in the CSR column but, all 3 csr, crt, key all show in cPanel. Do i need to add this in root so it will show up in WHM? If so where? Thanks!!!!

    Need to open port 443

    The containers are in httpd.conf but the problem seems to be port 443 is not open. I have no idea how it closed. Port is allowed in firewall configuration and NMAP shows port 443 is not open or listening.

    apache log have Invalid method in request \x80\x8c\x01\x03\x01

    This is nuts. Hope do I open port 443 if it is already identified in the httpd and firewall?

    if anyone has this problem, you cannot restart apache. You need to stop it and start it again for the port to be picked up.

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop
    then
    /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
