    Hi all,

Seems like no matter what I do in FTP or through Shell, once I try to upload a file that already exist in a directory, I can't overwrite it. I get a 550 error - permission denied.

I set the directory chmod to 777 in shell, but no luck. I'm the chowned owner as well.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

But did you alter the owner /permissions of the files inside the directory you want to over write ?
    Code:
    chown -R username.username directory_name

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
