Hello cPanel support and community,

I purchised the cPanel license but I can not log into the WHM&cPanel because of 'Cannot Read License File' error. Screnshot below:


Also I tried to renew the license by typing: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt the output is:

Updating cPanel license...Done. Update Failed!
Error message:
The cPanel license server said that a license could not be issued for your server (66).
For more information visit: Legal Notices - cPanel Inc.

The exact message was: Already Used cPanel/WHM Trial License for this IP. (IP REMOVED)

Building global cache for cpanel...Done

I have invoice for the purchising of the license.
Can someone help me to resolve the issue please?

For this issue, I would suggest that you contact our Customer Service team. Before I removed the licensed IP from the post I did look it up at cPanel & WHM License Verification | cPanel Inc. and found that it shows that it's expired.

You can contact Customer Service via a support ticket or directly via email ([email protected]).

The issue was resolved, the server's IP was changed to the new one.
