    Hello,
A few days ago I wasn't able to send emails to Hotmail and GMail (maybe more) but now the message just stays in the queue, did I do something wrong?

    Regards and thanks,
    NLCJ

Is there any error message are you receiving? You can also check the error logs from the below mentioned location:

    /var/log/exim_mainlog

I don't know how I fixed it (I did change some stuff) but now the mailserver works instantly to Google AND Hotmail. Totally working! :)

    Thanks.

May be you added PTR record since many providers like Yahoo, Hotmail requires PTR record in order to authenticate senders mail server IP address.

I think the problem you were having as the PTR/ Reverse DNS was not reflected. The mails started working as soon as the PTR/ Reverse DNS for the mail server IP.
