Cannot send mail

I have a cpanel server setup for webhosting of a few clients. However I also have my companies page on this server as well the problem that i am running into is that my mail server for foo.com is not on the cpanel server just the site. My other sites cannot email foo.com because i am assuming that they are seeing that that domain is hosted locally. I am not doing any dns lookups from webserver for foo.com those are handled by my authoratative dns servers
any help would be greatly apperciated

Try the 'Edit MX Entry' option in WHM to point the domain's MX records to the correct place.

After that, you might want to check that the domain is removed from /etc/localdomains and added to /etc/remotedomains

Thanks for all of your help I had the mx records setup right i think it was something with the domains..
