Cannot update to 11.40

    i have also similar issue.

    [20131204.105704] rpm_is_working ##################################################
    [20131204.105705] Now removing the RPM
    Cpanel::iContact: icontact /usr/sbin/sendmail is not executable by 0
    [20131204.105705] W An attempt to up/downgrade to 11.40.0.26 was blocked. Please review blockers.
    Can't exec "/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/cpanel_initial_install": No such file or directory at /home/cPanelInstall/selfgz9888/install line 152.
    2013-12-04 10:57:05 154 (FATAL): Failure to exec /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/cpanel_initial_install
    Removing /root/installer.lock



    When i use this command.
    rm /root/installer.lock

    then i again install cpanel.then again and again this is happening.

    I have forked your post into its own thread, because it does not appear to be similar to the problem in the thread to which you replied.
