Hello Everyone,

I recently got a Reseller provider who has an Emergency regarding cPanel Transfer. The Provider from which he took has closed Port 22, So Transfer tool is not working for Migration. The earlier provider is actually threatning for abuse reports and saying to take backup, though He has also disabled Backups and only enabled Jetbackup Snapshots option. We have just setup a new Server for Migrations only but seems like the earlier provider dosen't wanna share our own data...

Are there any Workarounds for Transferring cPanel Acconts in this case or maybe some 3rd Party Plugins which rather connects to Port 2083 for Transfers

Depending on if they are using JetBackup V4 or V5 the snapshot may work. V4 is in cPanel backup format. A JetBackup snapshot is simply a point it in time backup instead of a scheduled one. If you can download it from the old server you 'may' be able to use that to restore.

Can we use Jetbackup Snapshots for Restore on Other Servers? (We can install Jetbackup on the new servers)

You'd have to ask JetBackup support if you could do that (and how to do it). I was just thinking that if it's JB V4 that is already in cPanel backup format, so you could use WHM to restore.
