    Hello,
I would like to update my server's php version from 4.4.7 to 4.4.9, but under WHM->Main->Software->Apache Update there is no option for 4.4.9, but rather I see this next to the radio buttons:

    ...
    Version 4.4.3
    Version 4.4.4
    Version 4.4.5
    Version 4.4.6
    Version 4.4.7
[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive] Version 5.0.4
    Version 5.0.5
    Version 5.1.2
    Version 5.1.4
    ...

I'm a server admin noob to some extent and I'm afraid of breaking something if I were to update php by hand...

Any help would be much appreciated...thanks

Odd. Try it from the command line. Use Putty (if you are Windows) to SSH to your server as root, then execute:

    /scripts/easyapache

The interface is similar to the one in WHM, with the caveats that come with a console environment.

    Thanks for the reply.

Easyapache also doesn't have 4.4.9 as an option however, just 4.4.7 and 5.x.

You should update cPanel/WHM then. We're very swift with supporting new versions of PHP.

If you update and go back to EasyApache and still only see up to 4.4.7, please submit a support request so this issue can be diagnosed and resolved.
