I just ran the latest WHM update ( v102.0.8) and I can no longer access WHM. I just get a blank page and a frownie face in the Chrome tab (Not very helpful for debugging)

I restarted cPanel with ... systemctl restart cpanel.service
But it made no difference.

Where do I begin to work out what's going on?

have you tried another browser, maybe clear cache.
do you have any websites running on the cPanel server you can check if there up ?

EDIT: I was typing at the same time you were I guess, your up and running I see not sure why it took 20 mins?

The websites were fine (one had a problem but I think that was unrelated).

Maybe it was a browser caching problem, but Chrome was showing the "Crashed" icon which seems a bit dramatic if was just a matter of some files being cached. But I guess that's the way browsers have been heading for a few years now.

I'm glad to hear things are working well. I haven't had any similar reports of crashes after the update, but let us know if you see anything else out of the ordinary.

If you did see this in the future, you could always check the cPanel error logs at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log to see if there is anything being reported by our tools.
