can't big

    Hi guys,

    I can't seem to upload big files to a cpanel ftp server, i would always get disconnected and then have to resume all the time. can somebody please help me?

    Hi,

    Do you own the server? If so what FTP server are you running.

    If you have a Shared or Reseller account then you need to ask your hosting provider for support.

    i do own the server, and I am running pure-ftpd.

    Are you running a firewall?
    If so, open this port range for tcp in
    30000 to 35000

    and add this line
    PassivePortRange 30000 35000

    to your pure-ftpd.conf file in
    /etc/pure-ftpd.conf


    Give that a try and try pasv mode in your ftp client. You should
    be all set.
