I need help. I'm a hack Dad who's trying to help my 10 year old. We both purchased domains and hosting. We have a router at home. The website under my name will not come up but everything else will including my boy's. I had this problem in the past and my internet provider said that since we were uploading to 2 different websites using Cpanel - from the same computer - our IP addresses were messed up. I simply don't understand any of this. To solve the problem last time I bought a new router and got a new modem and things worked. Now the same problem occurred and I did get a new router but not a new modem. I was wondering if anyone had any clues about this problem. Oh, I can pull my website up on other computers.

I'm not sure why your ISP would say this as it makes no sense at all.

If the website will load on other computers but not yours, it would most likely be due to a local issue, which would cover one of the following

- an issue with your operating system (OS)
- an issue with the browser you're using
- some odd combination of both OS and browser
- a network configuration (settings) issue, as in something to do with the modem, router or both

That's just off the top of my head and there's likely many many more possible causes.

The only way you'll reliably be able to solve this is to get an expert to visit - there are just too many variables to start considering what might be going on.
