Cant check email through outlook.

    No on can receive email through a pop client such as outlook or eudora.

    Everyone on that servers is having the problem, over 100 accounts all over the world.

    Email works find through webmail ( Neomail)

    I can telnet to port 110

    This error message pops up right away in outlook...
    Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account:, Server:, Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

    Dear AbeFroman,

    Please, execute the following to confirm there is no problem at the mailserver end.

    1. telnet domainname 110
    2. user <email account username>
    3. pass <email account password>
    4. list
    5. retr 1
    6. quit

    if all this command works fine then there is no problem with your mailserver. The error you have posted normally occur because of mailclient misconfiguration, check the following link for details.
