I am wondering if anyone can help with this issue.... The network I am on went down and when it came back I have encountered some problems with MySQL. From everything that I have seen MySQL is running. Problem is.. Nothing can connect to it. The DBs are there... I tried updating MySQL... updating apache nothing is working.. please help....

My suggestion would be to have the CPanel folks take a look at the issue. From what I can tell MySQL is loading but for some reason connections to it are failing. I have been unable to find a reliable log file for the mysql process to examine the issue. I will open a ticket with CPanel and let you know what I hear from them.

Im on the same issue with the same guy we come for the exact server issue...
We've went and restored week old db sql files and wala things work so im not sure how this could of happend with some network issue at the DC
The error it was giving us was like:
No DB
or
Could not connect to DB
or
Erro in connection to DB
Those are basicly the errors we got, its like they were not even connecting to the DB because they had no db in the mysql
