    Hi everybody.

I have a problem in cpanel (Manage/Add/Remove Accounts)

If I want to add a new email it it creates it (at least the message sais: Account Created) but when the page goes back to Mail Maintenance the email is not there. So it's not created.

    Can anybody help me please?

usernames and passwords for what? FTP, http folder protection? make sure you don't have your limits set to low in the package in WHM you are on.

That's in each user's cpanel under "directory protection"

Having same problem with creating email accounts

When I try to add a new email account for a domain on the server via CPanel here's the message:

    "Mail Account Maintenance

    Account Created

The e-mail account email@domain.com with the login The disk write test failed. You may have exceeded your quota, or the disk is full. and password xxxxxxxx with a quota of 10 megs was successfully created. "

It almost looks like there are 2 messages overwriting each other.

The domain in question has unlimited quota. Server is Linux. New box, just got it a few weeks ago.

    Any suggestions cpanel or anyone?

that's a quota issue which can cause all sorts of problems. check user total quota and make sure your partitions aren't full.

I came accross a similar error before and it turned out the users directory under /home was owned by "root:root" for some reason....so log in through ssh, go to the /home directory and do a ls -l. If their folder is owned by root, go ahead and chown it correctly....
