    Trying to configure cluster...

Main server running 11.25 - DNS running 11.24.4

    Set both to enable clustering.

put the IP of the DNS into the main server "Add a new server to the cluster"

Next page loads, and asks for the access key... I paste this in exactly... user is root, correct IP shown, press submit and it just sits there doing nothing...

I have tuned off firewalls on both machines, but no luck.. any clues?

Do you see any error message? Checkout the cPanel error logs on both the servers at

Arrgghhhh... firewall in the datacentre... prob solved - sorry for being so excitable!

However, now having it all set up, I can't see any zones being transferred to the slave... any way to check for activity? How often does it update? Can you force an update?

It updates whenever you make a change to your zones and you can also force an update any time (SEE: WHM -> Synchronize DNS Records)
