Hi

i've been having issues with my Emails recently

1: my cpanel home page shows there are 4 adresses .
2: my files manager 's folder mail does have the 4 folders (that matches the 4 emails)
BUT :

1:when i access to my Emails section i find 0 account (i have no email to access through webmail) , if i try to create a new one i get just (error)
2:when i try to access my emails , i get (identification errors)
3: Outlook can't connect to the server (it keeps asking me to reinsert my identifications)
4: can't send emails to my domain adressess i get error

hope that these flowing captures can explain better.

In order to fix the email IDs issue you will need root access , if you are on a shared hosting environment please contact your service provider support and they will fix the issues for you.

It appears that the folders are not in proper location. To check if they are in proper location, you will have to cross reference another account's mail folder for this. If you do not have access to any other account, then the simplest way is that you create a test email account in your cPanel and then check where exactly the directory is created and then you can put your other email directory at the same location:

The location is like below:

/home/<user>/mail/<domain_name>/

Hello,

The following document is intended for migrations from remote control panels, but it also lists the paths to email data:

How to Manually Migrate Accounts to cPanel from Unsupported Control Panels - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation

Try creating a new email account via cPanel, and then reviewing the /home/$username/mail and /home/$username/etc directories to verify the previous email accounts are setup in the same way as the new email account.

You might have difficulty troubleshooting this issue without root access to the system. I recommend considering a new hosting provider if your existing provider is unable to assist you.

Thank you.

What exact error do you get when you create a new email account? Can you share a screenshot of the error you are getting..
