Trying to do a dump of each database. cPanel 11.32 and it's pretty stock.

    Doing mysqldump for the database 'roundcube' gave me:

    Code:
    mysqldump: Got error: 1286: Unknown table engine 'InnoDB' when using LOCK TABLES
    Well, skip-innodb is set in /etc/my.cnf so no big surprise. Though enabling InnoDB just for roundcube...grrr...anyway, I enabled InnoDB. Then I got:

    Code:
    mysqldump: Got error: 1146: Table 'roundcube.cache' doesn't exist when using LOCK TABLES
    What?

    Code:
    mysql> show tables;
    +---------------------+
Tables_in_roundcube
    +---------------------+
cache
contactgroupmembers
contactgroups
contacts
cp_schema_version
identities
messages
session
users
    +---------------------+
    9 rows in set (0.00 sec)

    mysql> desc cache;
    ERROR 1146 (42S02): Table 'roundcube.cache' doesn't exist

    Nobody has used roundcube - literally the database has probably never modified because I haven't setup anyone yet. So the roundcube DB is exactly as it was setup.

    So...is roundcube just junk, is there a problem with cpanel, or...?

    If "nobody uses roundcube", why are you trying to make a backup of that database?

    Nobody yet :)

    It just broke my "backup all databases" script.

    Solution was to drop the DB and run /usr/local/cpanel/bin/update-roundcube --force
