I am new to cpanel/whem but do have some *nix experience and have just taken over a new virutal server that is managed through cpanel/whm. For obvious reasons I want to use secure (ssl) to manage the server....but it doesnt work.
In WHM I followed through under:
SSL/TLS (NOT Web SSL/TLS)
- Please select a server to change the certificate for:
- cpanel/WHM
- Paste the .crt and the .key
- domain: www.mydomain.com.au
- Do it
Install SSL Certificates for Application: cpanel Attempting to verify your certificate.....
Cerificate verification passed!
Verifcation Result [OK]
Restarting SSL Support..
Certificate has been installed!
BUT - after this has completed clicking on the secure whm link - which points to https://www.mydomain.com.au:2087/ returns a 404 error. So I cant manage the box through ssl at the moment.
What am I missing? I have ssh access if anyone can tell me what to look for?
