after 20-30 minutes putty gives connection error and setup of cpanel/whm stops :(

Please help me..

I tried it on 3 different servers but same problem.. I think the new version of cpanel have problems in installing..

The 11.2x versions were smooth in installing and were fast too.. this one doesn't install and is very slow..

PLEASE TELL ME A SOLUTION FOR THIS ELSE TELL ME HOW TO INSTALL CPANEL 11.28

From our dev team:

The step that your install appears to be being stopped during is updatenow. This step happens very early in the install. It downloads all of the files needed to run cpanel. There are about 10,000 files you need to download for a total of about 375M of data. If it's taking longer than 30 minutes to download this, then it would probably be symptomatic of a slow download. You should be able to see that progress is being made by doing find
Code:
/usr/local/cpanel |wc -l
It should be totally safe when you log back on and verify that latest is no longer running to simply re-run
Code:
sh latest
. It should pick up where it left off.

In the mean time, we've decided to take out the output suppression (console flood). In order for it to be more clear to you what is going on during the install. This should be available in the next release.
