HI all... my first post here.

How can I check who is set as the owner of files / directories?

Problem I have is that I can load a html file in my browser but php won't work.
Cpanel error log shows "SoftException in Application.cpp:602: Could not execute script"

All directories are 755 and files are 644.

I do not have shell access.

The only way I could fix this was to delete the account, recreate it and do a test install of Joomla with Fantastico.
Interestingly, when I went to upload the directories I had done before, I was asked if I wanted to overwrite the files, even tho the account had been deleted and recreated!
Would appear that deleting an account doesn't mean that it is totally erased, but then again, maybe it was cached at my end?
... now off to fix the mail :-(

Terminating an account does delete its files and directories completely. It is difficult to imagine how any kind of cache, even at your end, could make it appear to be otherwise.
