Hi,

I'm trying to use cPanel web hosting manager to install my SSL but where it asks for user I'm stuck. I (or rather my host) tried putting in my username for cPanel but it's not working.

I should add that when I did go to https://[domain]:2087 and put in my cPanel login details it didn't work. It only worked when my host put in his details so all the files I uploaded on cPanel didn't exist.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've been trying to get SSL for a week now.

Hi,

Unfortunately I can't even do that. I logged onto cPanel and when I clicked submit a support request received the following: The System Admin has not configured this feature yet.

I can't log onto WHM either (as mentioned before) so can't access support via that.

My host however can access domain.com:2087 with his own login details and as a result the CRT, private key, etc. files which I uploaded do not exist when he logs on, since it appears to log him onto his own WHM.

Your host may have not enabled this feature to submit tickets directly from cPanel. Also, you can not access WHM if you have a shared hosting account with your hosting company. WHM can only be accessible having Reseller accounts OR administrators.

Note: if you use 2087 in WHM login URL then please make sure you use https NOT http

My site by the way is Blu Bastard but unfortunately Blu Bastard is inaccessible as the login for that is different to blubastard.com:2082 (that works with my login details). My host however can access blubastard.com:2087 with his own login details and as a result the CRT, private key, etc. files which I uploaded do not exist when he logs on, since it appears to log him onto his own WHM.
You may want to contact the company you're paying to host your website about this issue.
