    Hi,

We are having trouble with our connection to our webmail server where in we can't login on it but we put our username and password correctly, and if we are going to put it, it will make another pop-up login and asking for username and password.

Same as in our Outlook, it always pop like "Enter Network Password". But we have good internet connection. Please help us for it trouble us for a week now.

    :(
    Thanks.

    This could happen if:

    • Your IP is blocked by the server firewall / CPHulk
    • Your Outlook data file has exceeded 2GB / there is some issue with your mail client
    • Your email account has exceeded its quota
    • Your cpanel account has exceeded its quota

    Solutions:
    • Recheck the password / Reset it if required
    • Try from a different IP address
    • Try from a different machine
    • Try from a different email client like Thunderbird
    • Check if the same credentials are working on webmail
    • Check if your accounts are within their quota

Firstly, do you have a firewall, like CSF?

If you do, then use this command at the shell prompt:

Secondly you can check in the WHM >> CPHulk Brute Force Protection

thirdly you can check in WHM >> Host Access Control

Can you access it with port 2095?

grep the iptables log file to see if your IP is listed

    Replace IP# with YOUR.FULL.IP.ADDRESS.

I can't access with port 2095, ok will try this suggestion that you have provided and will update you.

Another thing, is that whenever I check the port 2096, using netstat -an, it is always Closed or LAST_ACK. This means it is blocked right?

    Update:

If I'm going to use our webmail through other internet connection, I can Login and check my mails. This is from a different Internet Provider.

But If I'm gonna use our Internet Connection wherein we are Static IP Internet Connectivity, I can't login on our webmail server. Can you help us please regarding this problem. Is there a Block of port is happening on our side? or from Internet Provider? We don't have problem with our Internet Connection.

It seems like your static IP connection is being blocked.

Check it out on the server first, by putting in the commands i gave you earlier.

    paste the output.

I can log now but after a minute, it goes back again. The error is there again. Can I ask, is there a penalty on webmail server that if you put wrong password many times on login, does it make penalty?
