Please HELP: Can't login to FTP Account

My reseller users can't access FTP on their accounts.

I have changed password, used only the Ip address instead of domain,Tryed Synchronize FTP Passwords,
    restarted FTP but nothing.

The same accounts can be accessed by the file manager in Cpanel.

    Errorsays
    530 login-in incorrect.

This is not happen when my reseller create a new account on his WHM a long ago and his user used the account successfully. But today all FTP account that own by my reseller change to 0 at cPanel information.

    any ideas?

Try ftp to ftp.domain.com not only domain.com

    FTP problem.

It doesn't work, I have the same problem with few accounts but I noticed alot of succesfull connectionm for other accounts.

Same thing here: synchronized passwords, switched FTP servers, restarted.

Another CPanel server I have behave normally. Very strange indeed.

you may need to use username@domain.com as the login username instead of just the plain username as the login

What about dedicated IPs and FTP

For sites on the server that use a dedicated IP, I noticed that addon accounts don't work unless you use the server-name or the name based IP.

    example
    host.server.com has IP address 1.1.1.2
    www.mydomain.com has IP address 1.1.1.3

If mydomain.com adds a username, (joe for example) it doesn't work if he tries logging into www.mydomain.com or ftp.mydomain.com. It will only work as joe@mydomain.com when he uses the name-based IP (or one of the host names for) 1.1.1.2

Is this normal behaviour or something goofy?

    Cheers,
    b
