    Hello,

I can't access WHM with the root user, I can access the server via SSH with the same root/password but not over WHM with the error "The login is invalid."

I have whitelisted my ip and still same problem.

    I checked /usr/local/cpanel/logs/login_log and i get this:
root "POST /login/?login_only=1 HTTP/1.1" FAILED LOGIN cpaneld: root login is not permitted to cpaneld

How can i enable root login again ? (not sure how it got disabled in the first place)

    you probably banned yourself with
    cPHulk

    /usr/local/cpanel/etc/init/stopcphulkd
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cphulk_pam_ctl --disable

You can add you IP in Whitelist with the following command, Replace your IP with 1.1.1.1

    Code:
    /scripts/cphulkdwhitelist 1.1.1.1

I have already white listed with that command, no help.

I have tried the 2 commands:
    cphulkd stopped successfully.
the disable didn't do any output

And still same error in the error log:
root "POST /login/?login_only=1 HTTP/1.1" FAILED LOGIN cpaneld: root login is not permitted to cpaneld

    Hello,

Check to ensure you are using port 2086 or 2087 when accessing Web Host Manager. You can also use "/whm" in the URL. It's a separate URL than what you use to access cPanel.

    Thank you.
