Hello all,

Im running multiple websites and for one of them I had to change DNS settings to start using Cloudflare CDN services. After changing DNS I was unable to connect emails because I got "ip address has changed" error.

I created subdomain using cpanel proxy to login (/http://nabtron.com/ip-address-has-changed-cpanel-webmail-error/6288/ followed these instructions) but now when I go webmail.mydomain.com and choose Horde I get following message:

"A fatal error has occurred

Session cookies will not work without a FQDN and with a non-empty cookie domain. Either use a fully qualified domain name like "http://www.example.com" instead of "http://example" only, or set the cookie domain in the Horde configuration to an empty value, or enable non-cookie (url-based) sessions in the Horde configuration.

Details have been logged for the administrator."

SquirrelMail works without problems. I have access to cpanel but not whm. Any help is appreciated!

I'm seeing the same problem here. https://domain.com:2096 works fine, but http://webmail.domain.com results in the Fatal Error as the OP documented, ONLY if you choose Horde as the webmail client. If you choose Roundcube or SquirrelMail, the proxy works fine.

Looks like Horde is just not compatible with the webmail proxy?

Horde is fine under proxy url http://webmail.domain.com i tried it now and horde loaded fine no fatal error but it could be something todo with cloudflare making horde getting Fatal Error since the domain is pointing to cloudflare then there they got copy of Records that then points domain back to your hosting account.
