Can't Remove Redirection from Addon Domain

I'm trying to add an add-on domain that uses the same document root as the primary domain on the account, which I've done successfully on my test server but can't get working on production. Here's what happens:

I add an Addon Domain, say example.com.

It says the redirection is going to redirect to:
http://example.com/(?i)\.svn

I click Manage Redirection, then clear the value of (?i)\.svn which is pre-filled in the input.

“example.com” is now being redirected to “nowhere (Redirection Disabled!) ”.

However, when I go back to the Addons screen, it still says that it's redirecting to:
http://example.com/(?i)\.svn

I'd like to remove the redirection for this addon domain.

Do you have any custom rewrite rules enabled in the .htaccess file in the account's home or public_html directories?

You saved my day.. Thanks a lot. I had the same issue and it was due to redirection in .htaccess file of the folder for the domain.
