Can't seem to send or receive mail?

If I send an email to one of my email accounts on my server, it never arrives (although local mail from cron etc does).

When I try and send an email using on of the built in webmail clients, I can compose it but the page just loads forever when I click the send button and it never actually sends.

Please can anyone help? I'm on the latest EDGE version of WHM I believe.

Does webmail eventually show an error? In Roundcube it may show the error for a few seconds only. If you run `exiwhat`, do you get an output saying SMTP is listening and exim is processing mail? Are you able to telnet to port 25 on the system and get a response from Exim?
