    Hello,
After the Cpanel is reinstalled, we can't use thunderbird to send emails but can get emails, also can't config email account in Outlook. There is a box "SMTP Server Password Required", when I click send email. I used my email password and some other passwords, but no password works.
By the way, I can use the webmail like horde to send and get emails.

    Thank you in advance.

What is the error message that you are receiving when you try to send out emails? Could your ISP be blocking port 25 and require using their outgoing email server? Have you tried another computer on a different ISP to see if that one works?

Thanks for your reply. there is not any error message, just pop up a box "SMTP Server Password Required". I tried many, but no password is right.

If I click cancel there is a error message:

I have tried another computer and another isp, there is always the same error.

At this point in time, if you have root SSH and root WHM access to the machine, please submit a ticket using WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel for us to test this out for you. Please post the ticket number here upon opening one.
