Did this happen after you did the Mail Conversion ( http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=44941&highlight=mail+conversion ) or it was running in a normal way ?

    You may try this scripts:

    /scripts/eximup --force
    /scripts/fixwebmail
    /scripts/fixeverything

Try to look at exim log file: /var/log/exim_mainlog

Also, is exim, cppop, imap services running in WHM service status?
What errors do you recieve ?

    Go on, have a guess
Well, the first thing you need to do before trying to fix anything is to tail your exim mainlog when trying to send email and see what errors appear and then take it from there.
