    Hi,

    I can't send mail with Exim. It's listening on port 26. "telnet hostname 26" is responding, and for example testing it from here: - Removed - prints "Mail successfully sent". I'm using AUTH, no ssl/tsl, and user and password created with cpanel -> Mail accounts. I can see the requests coming in /var/log/exim_mainlog, but it seems like it can't deliver them. Every host goes to timeout or gives this (/var/log/exim_mainlog output with an example for gmail):

    Code:
    2019-01-24 06:07:36 SMTP connection from [ip address]:58802 (TCP/IP connection count = 1)
    2019-01-24 06:07:36 1gmdnE-0005gb-KC <= someusr@yahoo.com H=6d.1e.089f.ip4.static.sl-reverse.com (prod1.example.com) [ip address]:58802 P=esmtpa A=dovecot_login:no-reply@mail.example.com S=1735 id=704366819.7.1548331657395@prod1 T="mail object" for mail@gmail.com

    2019-01-24 06:07:36 1gmdnE-0005gb-KC Sender identification U=farmacpadmin D=mail.example.com S=no-reply@mail.example.com
    2019-01-24 06:07:36 1gmdnE-0005gb-KC SMTP connection outbound 1548331656 1gmdnE-0005gb-KC hostname mail@gmail.com
    2019-01-24 06:07:36 1gmdnE-0005gb-KC == mail@gmail.com R=dkim_lookuphost T=dkim_remote_smtp defer (-53): retry time not reached for any host for 'gmail.com'
    More info:
    - "WHM Home » Security Center » SMTP Restrictions" is disabled;
    - "ping www.google.com" works fine from whm teminal;
    - tried something solutions like removing /var/spool/exim/db/retry.lockfile and /var/spool/exim/db/retry.

    I think there's something wrong with domains or dns. Where can i look? Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Gianmarco Nicoletti

    Can you tell me what the contents of the resolv.conf are?

    Code:
    cat /etc/resolv.conf
