Hello,

I'm having a problem a cPanel server. Basically, the domain or IP has been blocked by Hotmail (even though it's not a mailserver and has only sent out a couple dozen admin emails) and I need to get it unblocked. While this is happening, I would like to send emails via an external SMTP server. The website itself is running WordPress, so I installed a 'send via SMTP' plugin which works fine when sending via the server's own SMTP server, but simply fails to send anything using an external SMTP server. I have actually had this one a couple of cPanel servers before, but it's never been a problem before as I managed to stick to the server's own SMTP server in those cases.

Can anyone help?

Hello :)

Please browse to:

"WHM Home » Security Center » SMTP Restrictions"

Is this option enabled, and if not, do you have any SMTP restrictions enabled with a third-party firewall management utility such as CSF?

Thank you.
