Can't Terminate account

Here is what I did.

Created an account my.domain.com
Deleted DNS zone entry
When I logged in Cpanel > it showed errors
Could not termiante the account in WHM.
So used "deluser account" via root

Account does not show up in List account.
Account cannot be terminated via WHM
Account used up an IP. Which is no longer usable! Shows up in IP usage.

/etc/userdomains, /etc/trueuserdomains does not have entry
/scripts/killacct account, does not work.

I need the IP back.

Please help

Root Administrator
Is it in the httpd.conf or named.conf? What about /var/cpanel/users

If not try the "rebuild ip address pool". If that still fails and the httpd.conf is clean you could add the ip to /etc/ips but that should only be done last.
