Can't visit my sites a few times a day.

Dear,

I have a problem already for 2 weeks now.

I can't visit my sites and my webmail. That for about 3 or 4 times a day. It can start in the morning and after a time i have connection again.
All other site visiting like google , youtube works fine all day.

It strange that it starts after i have a new modem installed last October 31.

I have internet connection from Belgacom, and my brother have it also from the same connection. And he can't visit my sites to.

My other brother with the internet connection from Telenet can visit my sites and webmail. What is very strange??


I don't understand it anymore. and i don't know what to do.
Is there something wrong with my firewall installed in my WHM?


I hope some people know how to fix that problem.

You might want to speak with your host about this. If you are the owner of the server you might check to see if your IP has been blocked in your firewall. If yes, you should look into adding your IP to the firewalls whitelist.

Yes, i did that already. My IP is already added to th firewall. Now its 12am and still can't see my webistes.

Can it be something about the modem??

So, what i did is "Disable" my firewall "ConfigServer Security & Firewall - csf v5.41"

And now i can see my sites again. So, its strange that only i can't see the websites, and my brother with another internet provider he can visit it perfectly.
Is it possible to ad a domainname in the firewall?

You need to investigate further.
As I can see from your reply your own IP may be listed somehow. Maybe your firewall is using any kind of blacklist, which may include your IP as well.
ping/traceroute your server IP from your system (enable the firewall) and see what it say. you can also add your local IP to the firewall whitelist.
