[Case 100729] Unable to configure SpamAssassin using Paper Lantern

    I can duplicate the following bug on two servers running WHM 11.42.1 (build 13) AND Paper Lantern:

    If you go into the whitelist/blacklist settings for Spamassassin and add an entry and then save it, ALL of your entries are wiped clean and any new entries are not being recorded.

    Has this been reported yet and if yes, has there been a fix posted for it?

    This does not happen using X3.

    Thanks for reporting this, brianc. No, it hadn't previously been reported. We're on the case now though! The internal case number for it is #100729.

    Paper Lantern breaks Apache SpamAssassin™ Configuration

    Just a heads up. If you're using the new Paper Lantern theme and go to modify your SpamAssassin Configuration settings (whitelist/blacklist/custom rules), clicking save will wipe out the /home/USER/.spamassassin/user_prefs for that account.

    I switched back to x3 and it stopped clearing out the file. Tested on three accounts and was able to reproduce each time.

    Ahoy,

    We are aware of this issue and currently have internal case 100729 open on this issue. PaperLatern is currently under development and I recommend that you check the cPanel changelog for this internal case number for when this issue is resolved.
