    Theme

I am using the x3 theme

I have noticed that the size of the box has changed now but still get an error on the resizing option and do not have the option to set to unlimited on the boxes. And it is effecting multiple accounts since I have logged in as root under cpanel to try under other accounts.

I just wanted to take a second and respond to this thread on how I managed to resolve it today.

Last night we were upgraded to:

    cPanel 11.25.0-S43473 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9
CENTOS 5.4 i686 virtuozzo on xxx

I got a call from a client whose had gone over his mailbox quota. When I tried to increase the quota I got the message:

Sorry, there was a problem modifying mail quotas. Show Details

Email::editquota($FORM{'email'},$FORM{'domain'},$F ORM{'quota'}) failed: exit level [die]

For the record, this is a horrible message cPanel!!

So I was stuck, I couldn't increase the mail quota.

To get around this, I removed "Trashed" emails from the user's mail directory (/home/user/mail/domain.com/user/) as we're using Dovecot that doesn't remove trashed emails automatically. After a while the disk cache quotas adjusted to a value below his quota and I was then able to adjust it to a higher limit.

This is a bug. Seems to be affecting 11.25 versions. I've tested with multiple servers. Error message just says error changing quota to unlimited.

Deleting maildirsize from the account's folder as recommended by Misiek will allow you to set quota with no error.

Second this - definitely a bug.
    http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/invalid-maildirsize-file-why-68885.html
This post has just been responded to, and promptly locked stating the same.

Trying to change a customers mailbox quota from 200mb to 400mb, i got the error.
Having run "/scripts/generate_maildirsize --confirm" i was then able to update the quota.
Immediately after i tried to change it again, and get the error once again.

Affects one machine of mine, but not another.. BOTH are running
RELEASE WHM 11.28.52 on CENTOS 5.5 x86_64 standard

Sorry that thread has not been recetly replieed too... stupid american date formats.

Either way, It is a bug from back in 2007, which re-occurred back in April this year, and is happening again now.
You really must test these updates before releasing them!

    Scott,

If this bug is being caused due to an invalid maildirsize file, we have this fixed in version 11.30. When encountering that error in 11.30, we will automatically fix the maildirsize file in question, rather than simply reporting an error.

If the bug, or error, you are encountering is not due to an invalid maildirsize file, please open a support ticket with us so we can determine the cause.

    Thank you,
