[Case 48790] Reseller unable to edit accounts in WHM

Reseller is not provided with the option of editing user accounts when he lists the accounts. Whereas a root user on the same server is provided with an edit option when he lists the accounts. I have attached the screenshots for the same.

Hello,

This is almost certainly due to the privileges that have been provided to the reseller account through WHM's Reseller Center.
Main >> Resellers >> Edit reseller privileges & nameservers

You'll need to have "Account Modification" enabled for this option to be available for the reseller.

Account modification is already enabled. This happened after we updated WHM. Is that a bug with WHM?

The version you are using happens to be that of the EDGE tier. I wouldn't normally recommend using EDGE on a production machine.

I do confirm that 11.28.87-STABLE_51188 does work to show the edit link in WHM > List Accounts > Username column when List Accounts and Account Modification are both enabled for a reseller in WHM > Reseller Center > Edit Privileges/Nameservers area, while 11.29.0.13 does not show the edit link in WHM > List Accounts > Username column for a reseller with the same privilges. I am going to be opening up an internal case about this occurring. I will post the case ID number after that has been completed.

Yes you are right. There are no errors in listing accounts with the version 11.28.87-STABLE_51188. It happens only with the updated version. However for that reseller we ended up moving all his accounts to another server running on version 11.28.87-stable_51188.
